Custom and tradition has a very significant and essential approach in the life of an individual. Tradition is basically a custom, practice, or a memorable story which eventually will be passed down from generation to generation. Various methods have been used to give it a recognition and importance such as poetic verses, scripts, and other literary tools.
Tradition is basically a knowledge process that explains the core of tradition and the custom of the particular nation. For instance it describes the people, their behavior, system of the country, and costumes etc. Traditions are presumed as ancient and natural scenario of the nation and its inhabitants. But there are few traditions that are deliberately invented for some reason or may be to enhance the importance of a particular institution.
Traditions are liable to change as per the daily needs. These changes are likely to be accepted, considering a part of ancient tradition. There are few examples like in Africa the invention of tradition was done by occupying forces. On the legitimate ground a tradition can be invented in order to legitimize its own place. Such inventions are often based on a particular form of tradition that is grossly exaggerated, biased or distorted towards a specified interpretation.
